Privacy Policy

This is a private application used by one family. It has one user. It does not sell, share, or transmit anyone's data to any third party, and it displays no advertising.

What the app accesses

With the user's explicit consent, granted through Google's standard permission screen, the app requests two things:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks — to create and read items on the user's own Google Tasks list, so homework can be recorded there.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create events on the user's own Google Calendar, so assessment due dates appear alongside everything else.

The app does not request access to email, contacts, files, photos, location, or browsing history, and cannot read them.

What is stored, and where

An authorisation token from Google, stored as a file on a single private home computer. It is not uploaded anywhere and is not accessible over the internet.
The homework items themselves, which live in the user's own Google Tasks and Google Calendar — the same place they would be if he had typed them in himself.
A local record of the conversation, kept on that same private computer so the assistant remembers what was discussed.

There is no server, no database, no hosting account, and no analytics. Nothing is collected about anyone other than the single user.

What is never done

No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
No data is used for advertising or profiling.
No data is used to train any machine-learning model.
Google user data is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide the feature the user asked for.

Withdrawing access

Access can be revoked at any time, without asking anyone, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking it immediately and permanently stops the app from reading or writing anything. Tasks and calendar events already created remain in the user's account, and can be deleted there like any others.

Children

The single user is a minor. The application was built and is operated by his parent, who holds the credentials, granted the consent, and can revoke it. No data about him is disclosed to anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
